We're Teri and Jerry Maxwell and we moved to Bastrop, Texas in 2003 to start our miniature donkey farm. This had been our dream for so many years. Our two children, Shannon (an attorney) and Jordan (actor, writer) had completed their educations and were off on their own!

Only our second snow ever at the farm...February 2011! Donkeys loved the snow....not the cold!
In addition to donkeys....we have five incredible dogs (see "Our Dogs" page) & one pygmy goat!!
